Ok so Weez called. They have rooms available.
There is no Hold and no Fee. They take a CC in case you book and don't cancel or don't show up. Then they will charge your card, but otherwise, nada.
The FP is loaded onto your card all at once (YAY! Good deal!).
You need to 'buy' a Valley Club daily access (one time), but that's as low as 10 bucks and you get 10 bucks in food; or a 3 month membership for $20 and that gets a guest in with you each time. No food free for that one.
There are other higher priced tiers but these two should suffice.
We're doin it. 500 FP and a room free is a no-brainer. (or have I lost so much gray matter from spinning slots that I'm deluded? LOL)

And Tom, writing checks will get you into the 'system', too. Just write a check for the amount of the cash BR you would bring (check writing is free at Sands, Parx, AC ... everywhere we go but the CET props... DO NOT cash a check there! They take 5%!
Ridiculous to charge you to lose money in their casinos!

No brainer indeed! Staying at the hotel or Radisson? I was just looking at Trip Advisor, some interesting reviews on there.

hey, figured this might be a good spot to ask ... i thought i read somewhere that there was some new member promotion at Valley Forge as well? Anyone know anything about that? Something about 100 FP or Match Play if you pay a 10 dollar entrance fee? Was trying to figure out if I should head that far north this weekend. Would definitely go if there is 100 FP.

    OK Thelma,
Now you need to let me know when you guys are going so I can tag along - it's been a while!
When I rush home Friday night (traveling all week), I'll check my mailbox and hope theres a Valley Forge offer in there!

Thanks, Amy! That 5% surcharge is a travesty in a casino!!!

Ahhahahahaha, whenever the picture of that enters my mind, I smile! I find that hysterical (in a good way! good sense of humor there!)

    Phew - very glad.
You never know how it comes across in text.
Honestly - I chuckle every time I visualize the image...

    Me too!
I think hamster balls are the solution for non-smokers in the smoking sections, too! As you said, a self-contained environment!
Pookkyy, this is the idea that will make you a billionaire... get to work on the design and marketing (Ken will do the packing and shipping for you LOL... visualize THAT! Ken lugging those monsters to the post office each day... and Rob delivering them lmao)!
