I have played Triple Stars and Double 3x4x5 on this new slot cd and I must say they are very loose. I play these two reel slots all the time in casinos and while generous at times they are nowhere near as loose as they are here. Is IGT trying to get us into the casino thinking this is how real life will be or is it just my imagination? And no I don't have the game set at higher payouts. Just normal payouts. But it must be set at over 100%(LOL) for normal. I already have over $60,000 in winnings betting only $3 a spin. And have never had a losing session.

I ordered the dvd and got it today. Can't get it to work. I installed the directx suggested in a previous post before I installed it. Here is what I get when I run it (hope this shows up) - I am running xp. What a hassle! Think I'll just send it back.

    Rosemattie,
It might have to do with your video card. Not all of them work with this game and the latest directx. Is you computer a name brand? If you tell me the model number I can look up the video card and see if it is compatible. I don't work for IGT or Hoyle. Just a computer teacher/tech. So the only thing I care about is you getting it running or at least knowing why it won't.

    Rosemattie,
    Go to
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/.../inspiron-1720 to get the latest video drivers for your laptop. You might want to go into Control Panel on your laptop and then Device Manager to see whether you have an Nvidia card or the standard Intel integrated video driver. Then download the driver (Nvidia or Intel) from the Dell list and install.
There have been reports of Inspiron 1720's with directx snafus so don't be too disappointed if after installing the drivers it still doesn't work. Sometimes computers try our patience. Good luck.

Okay - tried that and still doesn't work. (It's Intel) Downloaded latest driver and still get the same screen when I start the program. Thanks, anyway.

What a bummer. I don't have the this game, but I would imagine that at some point they will get enough complaints that a fix will be available.

    Best of luck.

I can't even find an email address that I can email them with a picture of what is happening. I tried calling technical support yesterday (within the hours they have listed), but got a recording that they were busy in a "staff meeting" and to call back later. By then it was after 4 pm cst and now can't call until Monday. I think I will just send it back for a refund.

Of course, I have a Mac
