    Default Advantage 5

    I will usually search out Konamis. My two favs are Vibrant 7s and Diamond Spinner. Since I am a Harrah's loyal, the only place near is Bally's AC that has A5's. Going to Aruba again in Nov. The Alhambra casino has V7, DS and Dragon Crystals. So that will be my parking place.
    Sitting next to a lady at Ballys playing V7s for .35 a spin. She hits free spin, get 5 green 7s, goes into progressive and get all 9 squares for $1000. My best has only been 8 square for $300+, but I keep trying.

    The Borgata has these also. I love the Thunder Warrior one.

    I have seen both at $1300 +. I too prefer DS but will play which ever are open. I'm not allowed to play at Borgata, my bride only likes the Showboat. Its her comfort zone. lol
    At Ballys, the V7 is set at $1000 (no progressive). I've made several request to Showboat to get them but no results.

    Hi there,

    I was up in Reno last weekend. I think Diamond Spinners seems to pay a little more, especially during the re-spin feature since the payouts are doubled. Combine that with a 3x and get 3 or 4 red diamonds it adds up.

    Vibrant 7's tends to tease you in the free spins with the 2nd or 4th reel green 7 being off 1 position high or low but every 3-4 set of spins it may trigger the feature. Very rare to get 5 green 7's not during the free spins. I had 1 round of 15 spins it gave me 3 bonus number features and 4 teases.

    I did see a 2-cent Vibrant 7's Machine at Thunder Valley at almost $4800 back in August. Needless to say there was a small crowd gathered every time the number bonus feature came around.

    Yes ... for people who have played the "Thunder Warrior" game, it demonstrates that Konami does not have to take a back seat to anyone on the graphics/animation side of things.

    Although, they will not get the accolades of a WMS or IGT ... their machines are capturing more slot floor space at the expense of Atronic, Bally and IGT.

    As I have stated in a different thread, Ad 5's are now installed at Showboat. They are :
    2 = Vibrant 7's
    2 = Hawaiian Goddess
    2 = African Diamond

    Located on main floor behind Piano Bar. (near Powerball and D or no D)

    The 2-cent Konami RAWHIDE games are constantly busy a year after installation. I would call this a major hit. I had a $180 hit on a $1 bet on RAWHIDE over the weekend. I really enjoy the relatively low volatility of the game -- lots of WILDS. The BONUS ROUND doesn't have all the volatibility of many modern machines ... but it is just fun to play.

    Since "Thunder Warrior" was mentioned in here a few months ago, Pappy had a hell of a ride with this machine as seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/user/videopap.../0/vjJkDo_13mM . When I had my bonus of around 1600ish credits and I was only betting 25 credits when I played it a month or so ago, I knew that was pretty good for me, but Pappy's takes the cake all of the way. Way to go! Everything is just great about that machine.

    Hello, everyone...

    My DH and I where at Stateline (Primm, NV) for New Years Eve, as we've been comped for 2 nights and a VIP Dinner/Dance. Well, we were just starting to gamble, when he saw this Dragon Crystal machine available. He hurried to go get it but, this one lady jumped ahead of him and grabbed it. Well, next to it was this Diamond Spinner machine. He puts in a $20.00 and starts playing. He figures he is playing .25 a spin however, unaware he hits the button next to the max bet, which will have you bet .35, well long story short, on his very last spin, he gets two diamonds + x3 multiplier, then comes the re-spin, goes into the jackpot bonus and hits the major jackpot at $1,127.00. What a cool way to celebrate the New Year..!
