Well, I just got off the Oasis of the Seas and can tell you that I played Jewelly for almost everyday for one whole week. It gave me the most action for a penny slot and I think they have a real winner. Althought his is a "vulture" type of game given the bank of 10 slots with different levels of minor/major progressive banks and the jewel token bank, I took advantage of the best payouts of the bank of ten machines that were on this ship. You can see the entire casino video of the Oasis of the Seas at my trip report You Tube link:

I have not been able to locate these slots. Here is a link to video from Spielo's site (click on Bonus, then choose video)

I saw a couple of these at Casino Aztar in Evansville, IN a few weeks ago. Did not play them and I remember seeing someone playing a bonus with chocolates. It was busy and I did not pay much attention to them otherwise.

Default Is Jewelly really a game?

    Hi Folks:

I think we are going to be asking ourselves this more and more. Jewelly is a new theme that includes a progressive element and different bonus rounds. However, many of the base games are exactly the same as games that have been around for many years. It would appear to be a "portal game" ... or a new twist to make an old game more interesting (eg. random bonus rounds and progressive elements).

When it noticed the base games were the same, I passed on it this time. I might try it again in the future.

One thing that I liked about the cabinet ... it had a special SPIN button attached to the machine with a wire. Presumably, it was for disabled players who want to comfortably play from their wheelchair. A nice touch.

I would consider Jewelly like Cashman. The base games are the oldies and the progressive is just an added game within the base games. Yes, they do have a remote control deal that is attached to the cabinet. Very nice indeed, although, I haven't used it!

    Hi Deb:

That is a good comparison. Ironically ... the CASHMAN games were new to me when CASHMAN came out in Canada ... so I didn't realize they were already existing stand-alone games.

Yeah, those Cashman games have been around for quite a while now. It is so sad for you guys that you get things new by the time they are old! New version of Cashman coming soon too!

Actually, it is a hand held wired spin button which allows you to sit back with your hands on your lap or on your side. I actually found this very comfortable. The game "Wild 1's" was the predominent base game on the units onboard the Oasis of the Seas. They even used this slot bank of 10 Jewelly machines for all their slot tournaments. Those machines sure took a beating as people pounded on them with force during the tournament sessions. Not me... I just pushed the button with my thumb on the hand held unit which no one was using... Never won a slot tournament but it was fun...

Well -- maybe if you were mashing the buttons a little more, you might have won it. Or maybe your "screen rubbing" was not abrasive enough!
