Default Wheel of Fortune $100 slot

new poster here, but thought I'd share a tale from a few months back.

When I was staying at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas I noticed they had a $100 Wheel of Fortune Slot. It is not networked, so doesn't have a progressive jackpot ($100,000 for 3 WOF symbols I recall). Anyway, I enjoy playing the $5 WOF slots, and thought when I saw this machine that you must be mad to play a $100 a spin.

Anyway, eventually I couldn't resist - put my $100 bill in (only requires single credit) and I got the spin first time. $4800 thanks very much (top spin was $20k!).

I'm going back there in a couple of weeks - if it's still there, I might have one or two tries!

thats the best one play I've heard of...but please keep to your idea of trying only one or two times...even though there is no truth and proof to this following idea...its been my experience that after I hit big on a type of machine like Zeus, or Indiana Jones..the machines send a picture to all the other same games and tell them that I had my big win...so I spend a great deal of time and money chasing those wins again...and haven't hit again...as I mentioned before ...my best wins have been in under 4 plays....have fun and don't lose the farm.....

I think the 'if you don't win early you don't win' theory is correct more often than not.

I also won $1600 later that trip by getting 5 'jinx' symbols on Hexbreaker - and that was also after only a few spins.

I've got into trouble by chasing bonus rounds that never come -especially on stinking rich and pharaoh's fortune.

I agree with the above statement, Most of the time when i play the 5$ machines I often never win early it often takes a couple hundred.. even after that i may not hit anything substantial lol.

P.S. Thats a great win lol.

Wow...I've never seen a $100 WoF that had a spin on it. I've seen the one someone hit for $20,000 on someone's Youtube but that one didn't have a wheel on it if I remember correctly.

    Wow...what a terrible jackpot. That's equivalent to a $1,000 jackpot on a $1 machine, or a $250 jackpot on a quarter machine.

That's a really, really bad JP.

I've seen two different versions of a $25 Wheel of Fortune slot before.

One was scaled down -- $100,000 JP for 3 WoF symbols, and the spin prizes were altered -- the $1,250 prizes were brought down to $1,175 to avoid handpays, but the top prize on the wheel, that NORMALLY would be $25,000, was dropped to $10,000, and some other high amounts were lowered.

The other I've seen was exactly like the $5 Wheel, but with all the amounts x5 -- as I think it should be. Top wheel spin is $25k, 2nd highest is $12,500, there was a $10,000 and so on. Three WoF symbols pays $500,000.

I can only assume that the scaled down version is supposed to pay more often.

The 5$ WOF at my local casino has a Progressive non linked JP of 100,000, Highest on the wheel is 5000 lowest is 125$, the amounts are in 5x fashion. They hit almost everytime that i am there, I have hit 2 of them for 1250... not high at all for a 5$ machine... They also seem to give out 500$ spins often I have gotten a few, again that is peanuts for a 5$ machine but you take what you can get sometimes... I'm lucky to get a 500$ spin after pumping 500 into 1 of them lol.
