Hello all slot fiends and friends,
What can I say about me?? Got started playing slots on a sight seeing trip to Vegas. While waiting for the "pirate ship battle" to start, went to the bar to have a glass of wine and a smoke. When the bartender told me that if I was playing that machine in front of me, the wine would be free (he said comped, and I totally didn't get it), that was it. Game over. Two addictions (drinking and smoking) had spawned a new addiction!!! I've only been back to Vegas a few times since then (10 years ago). AC is my place. Had loyalty to Claridge (can you believe it?) until the Borgata swept me off my feet. Love it there. Love the restaurants, the rooms, the service, the Starbucks, everything!! Still manage to get to the boardwalk a few times each summer, but it seems full of bums and lowlifes.
Since starting this love affair with slots, I hit every casino I can find. Been to AC, Vegas, Santa Ynez CA, All the Palm Springs areas casinos, Slot parlours in London, Nice, Lisbon, Ocho Rios, Cherokee NC, The PA casinos (really like Mt airy), The Connecticutt ones, Hollywood Hard Rock, all the San Juan casinos and the one in Mayaguez PR, St. Kitts, Nassau Bahamas, New Orleans Harrahs (loved it!!), and more that I can't recall.
My best hits ever were: $1000 on Slingo at Claridge, $750 on some jazz machine at Borgata, $600 at Rawhide Borgata (NEW favorite), $800 on Mr. Magoo Reel machine Borgata (gone now), $500 on Filthy Rich (not stinkin) at Atlantis.
Look forward to hearing all the trip reports, tips and stories!!!

Welcome to the forum Stacey, look forward to hearing some trip reports. I'm with you on Borgata and the Boardwalk. Mt Airy is nice. My wife and I usually go to the Sands but the new Parx Casino opened at Philly Park and it is really nice and may become the new hot spot. Very large choice of new machines. Was at the Borgata last night and did some nice videos, it was quite empty. Good luck on your next trip.

Welcome AcStacey! I have yet to hit the Borgata, but I've been hearing some great stories! We live in Cental PA, so we probably won't get to see AC until the spring. We really have to consider the weather when we go casinoing! I think you know what I mean, I'm sure you got plenty of that snow that came through here last week!!! We got 18 inches of it! Yee haw!

OMG, Angi, can't believe you got 18 inches of that nasty storm. You must have been at around the top borders of it. We usually get slammed with snow up here in the Pocono Mountains, but dodged a bullet this time and only had about 2 inches ... we will no doubt make up for it soon. Only bad thing is my guys are wanting to go snowboarding and we need a bit more fresh powder to make that any fun.

Hi there, welcome to the forum! Great intro!! Borgata is easily the cream of the crop in Atlantic City and the closest thing to Vegas, although it's STILL nothing compared to that great desert locale. Since I'm a vodka guy, I guess we could say that Borgata is Absolut, because when you see the rest of the casinos on the boardwalk (full of riffraff half the time, as you've stated), and then you get to Vegas, you truly do see that Atlantic City is the Boomerang and Vegas is the Grey Goose.
