Hi chinomoreno:
I really like this game. I played it online quite a bit ... and I think it is great. I wish IGT made a lot more games like this.
As far as thinking this game is not a slot machine -- you can call it whatever you want -- but it does belong in a casino. I'm not married to the idea of video representations of reel machines.
The casino is full of video slots -- so a few dozen machines that try something new is great!

You can get a lot of spins per minute on this game, much more than a regular slot. The bonus is frustratingly hard to get sometimes, but is pays pretty well in my opinion. I also find your money goes a long way on this machine most of the time. It has a similar feel to DaVinci Diamonds.
Deb, not to get off-topic and thread-jack, but my hubby (also named Dave by coincidence) and I don't normally like the same machines either. Usually the ones I can win on, he can't and vice versa. I think he gets his feelings hurt at the casino sometimes too, because I usually won't play next to him very often. He's like the kiss of death for me so much of the time. I can be winning like crazy, and he comes up and sits next to me and I just start losing. It happened the first time we went to Vegas and I finally said, "I love you honey, but I'll see you in the room." LOL. If he's sitting next to me because he's broke, I'll usually give him money to go away. At least until I'm done playing.
I don't much like that format of game but it's not too bad. And it is mad fun when it does go crazy on ya.
There are a ton of games that just aren't for me but that's why they have so much variety. Not everyone is The Yad, after all.
Nor, I suppose, would they WANT to be.
I like machines that I can get a feel for. Not mathematically sound, I know...but it's more of an intuitive thang for me.[That doesn't mean I don't store The Shamus voiceover in the back of my head, of course!]
