I will get this posted as soon as I can. We had fun but I spent it all! I just haven't had time to write it up. I did get to play the whole time we were there and the money lasted right up until the end.

We go to laughlin all the time.....Will be going to the Chili cook off as well...comped rooms all month!

We left on Sunday out of Denver on a junket paid by Harrah’s (flight, room, a couple meals). Easy flight with no problems. Got to Harrah’s and my host had come through with a nice room overlooking the river. We dropped our stuff off in the room and hit the casino. Harrah’s was extremely busy. So busy that it was very difficult to get on a machine. I have never seen it that busy. Two more flights came in that night that we know of. We played for awhile and Denny was getting pretty disgusted as he only likes certain games and couldn’t get on them. We had a late dinner at the buffet. This is almost always good. After dinner we gambled again. We both had a hard time getting on machines. The place was packed! Denny finally gave up and went to the room. I stayed for just a few more minutes. I got a nice win on Wolf Run and then headed up to bed.

Monday we ate at Harrah’s breakfast buffet. We decided to ditch Harrah’s and take the river taxi over to Aquarius. We stopped at Edgewater first to see if it was all fixed from the accident a couple weeks ago. You cannot even tell it happened. I mean – it is completely back to normal. We talked to our host later and he said they did not even close the casino even though some people died. They just roped off that section. He said they repaired it super quickly too.

We did pretty well at Aquarius and liked it much better. It was also busy, but not like Harrah’s was. We played all day and then had enough comps to eat dinner there.

Tuesday we ate Harrah’s and then went over to check out the Tropicana and played there for a bit. Denny liked Aquarius better so we went back there. I tried a couple of new games by Azure. They were fun and the graphics were great. I got a nice bonus on Shen Long. The other was Wild Hunter Tiger. They have a rescue spin feature. Basically you bet 5 credits just once and then if you go 500 spins without a bonus it will trigger the bonus. I also played Spin Poker and got a royal flush. I was only on nickels so it wasn’t a bank breaker but I was still excited. We again had enough credit to pay for dinner again so ate there as well.

Wednesday we again did the Harrah’s breakfast buffet. We then took the river taxi to Aquarius and played until 4 pm or so. Then went back to Harrah’s and played until dinner. We played some after dinner too. Denny got a great bonus on Kitty Glitter but I wasn’t by him to get the photo. He got the bonus and then a retrigger and wound up with $186 bonus on a $1.20 bet. He was pretty happy. I finished off my money and we went to bed early as they had a 5:45 am luggage call. Who in their right mind ever gets up that early?????

Bullhead City was again out to prove they have the highest security in the world. Their machine was again turned up super high so you had to take off anything metal – necklace, earrings, belts, etc. I still set off the alarm. They figured out it was a barrette in my hair and wanted me to take it out. I had just spent ½ an hour getting it up and wasn’t about to take it down. So asked to be wanded. They not only used the wand, but actually did a total pat down – a VERY thorough pat down. In our group alone they did pat downs on at least 8 people. The flight home was uneventful.

We did have a great time. It was so nice to relax. The weather was good and we loved riding on the river. I was a little more gutsy on some of my bets and sometimes it paid off and sometimes not. But it was a nice trip and we are looking forward to our next one.

Excellent, excellent trip report with all of our pics and vids! I have to tell you I have been cheating and checking your YT acct!!! lol

We love riding on the river taxi in Laughlin, it is so relaxing and fun. The weather there is almost always nice. Of course in the summer when it is 120 ... well, you know! Interesting about the security there in BHead. The last time we were in Laughlin we flew the Harrah's Junket as well 8/08 and they weren't that bad. We really like the Aquarius too. We have only stayed there once since it has changed from the Flamingo but I will tell you we sure miss the Flamingo a LOT. We were like stars there. They did keep a lot of the slot floor the same and they have a lot of older games that we adore. Did you happen to play any of their dollar slots? Like Shooting Gallery, Pinball, or Cash Advance? I believe they still have those there and we LOVE them!! Thanks again for taking the time to do your report and attach all your pics/vids they sure are fantastic!

I agree with Yads. I have never seen that game before and really enjoyed watching the vid. The fire breathing dragon on the top of the screen looks really cool. Thanks for posting all the vids and the great trip report.
