    Default I like Konami games

    Hi Folks:

I thought I would start a thread for people who like Konami games. I've had a lot of luck with Konami games. They have really interesting math in many of their video slots -- where any symbol can be stacked. It makes for more exciting spins.

Some of the BONUS ROUNDS feature massive spins. China Shores gives out spins in the hundreds ... at least one of their games offers 1000 spins as a possible bonus.

I've found the Xtra Rewards slots very fun, in a low denomination. The "Great Africa" game has frequent retriggers, up to 10x multipliers.

The Advantage 5 series (eg. Rawhide) is a lot of fun on a low denom -- and I get a fair amount of play and entertainment for my money.

Recently, these machines have been paying well, and giving me lots of excitement. While WMS Gaming still makes my favourites, Konami is in second place. Unfortunately, Aristocrat is releasing a ton of machines, which seem to be getting lost in the mix.

Guess it depends on the payback% at each casino, these have to be very low at ours. I played side by side with a nice lady that I had started to talk with, she had 160 dollars on her machine, Our machines both were not paying out anything in return, she went all the way down to 50 dollars before she even got a decent enough bonus to win back anything much. Me on China shores, you better score some high spin wins because that is the only way you will usually ever win anything on that machine. I notice that people that play more then one bet on this bank of progressives usually have the temple bonus come around more often, but evryone always gets the mini jackpot, so why bother to spend the extra money? Personally I didn't think I would like Jaws, but to compare these two progressives, Jaws is cheaper to play at 30 cents a spin and the Progressive does seem more active in giving something other then the minumum level amount everytime, like the temple bonus seems to do. I perfer that over Konami now days.

I certainly do not dislike Konami games but I have never had any luck on them at all. I do like playing the Advantage 5 series of games and the efusion (I think that is what it is called) progressive link video banks but again no luck at all for me I won't stop trying though!

The Advantage 5 series is very popular in AC. They are always busy. Vibrant 7's and Gold Frenzy seem to be the most popular. If it's not an "AD 5", I will usually walk past it. The hexagons are the "worst". (grammer)
When I am in Aruba, me and my casino friends that I have met over the years are playing these for hours each day. Last year the Alhambra Casino in Aruba installed an additional bank of 8 machines just to keep up with the demand.

My one and only experience with Konami was very brief.

A couple of weeks ago, I was down after a long day of playing, and saw this Konami game called Club Moulin (I think that's what it's called). I see this game all the time, but have never taken the time to play it, usually because someone else is playing.

So, I sit down, put in $5 and bet .20 cents. The first spin goes to the bonus. I won about $3. The guy next to me tells me the guy before me played for about an hour and never got a bonus.

    I tell myself, I'm ahead, let's bet .40 cents. A few spins later, I'm over $10, so I start betting $1.

Three spins later, the screen fills with K's. 2 on the first reel, a bunch on the middle reels and 2 on the last reel. I don't know how many 5 of a kinds I had, but each one paid $20. It ended up paying $150. I quickly cashed out.

I didn't play long enough to decide if I liked the game, but I definately enjoyed that session.

I also like the Konami slot machines. I've had some luck on both China Shores and China Mystery. I also enjoy the Advantage 5 slots as well as Club Moulin, African Diamond and Rawhide. Then there's the X-tra rewards machines. A few weeks ago I won $350.00 dollars with a 50 cent bet on China Mystery while at the Red Rock in Vegas. I also did well at that game at Harrahs Ak Chin Casino. I do find that you have to play them awhile before you get a good hit.

I like Konami video slots too. Most of the machines at the casino I play at are usually the same math models...the K2V platform I believe with games like Club Moulin, Norse Warrior, Stand and Deliver, and Rawhide, the same game with those stacked symbols. I have to say that I have had good luck on most of them, I won $1000 bucks on African Diamond with a screen full of butterflies betting the max and on the bonus round, and I usually do well on Stand and Deliver. Xtra reward games are fun too, I enjoy Pirate Rose and the ones with the 5th reel all wild. They also have some unique games like Conexion, which really frustrate me, as well as the steppers.

I think most people are allured by the fact of the stacked symbols. A screen full of even K,Q,J are worth a lot, and higher paying symbols payout even more and come up more often than you would expect. This is also the greatest source of the frustration. To see a screen full of one symbol, only to have the 3rd reel without it, or the like, happens too often and really frustrates me. I like the music though; I like listening to music of all the manufacturers, but the ones on the Konamis seem more jolly and different.

Has anyone ever played this game? My DH is addicted to this game. When you get to the bonus you pick your spins. They have one where you can get 1000 free spins. Now we have been told that people do get it,and it takes almost 3 hours for it to play out. But we have picked 1000 one time many times. Never can get two for the bonus. They never show where the other one is. i often wonder if they don't always have the other 1000 spin under there for the pick. Just wondereing what anyone's thoughts were on this.Lately he has spending way to much of our bankroll on this game just trying to get the 1000 spins. It has actully caused us agruments over it. LOL Can they do that, just put one on there????
