Default Quick Trip Sands Bethlehem 07/31/10

Going with my partner and parents to Pennsylvania to a flee market in Marshall Creek, and will head south to Sands Bethlehem after that! This will be my first trip and I am so excited! I'm taking very little money as this was a spontaneous and fun idea!

Do we get anything for having a Grazie card? Ill let everyone know how it goes!

    Good luck to everyone!

We went to the Sands for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Nice place, but only $5 in freeplay for giving your email address when signing up.

However, a couple days later I received this email from them:

Can anyone tell me how much freeplay this is supposed to be?
May 16th is "Wear Purple for Peace Day"

The goal of Wear Purple for Peace Day is to make the world a peaceful place and, of course, encourage alien species to make contact with earth.

(Lots of alien days in this Holiday LIst that I use. Or maybe it's because I was so close to Roswell yesterday!)

IDK but you need to get your dispatcher on the phone ASAP to book it back to Bethlehem to find out!

Well, we're on our way to Laredo, TX, and you can't be much* further south than that, and still be in the US! Usually we end up somewhere on the mid-atlantic coast, and I'm hoping we can find out firsthand on our way back from there to Michigan. Will let you all know!

Come on. Get your map out. Brownsville is still even further south in Texas, but the most southern spot in the US is Key West. Just had to mess with you on that on.

According to my wonderful DH, sitting right next to me, technicall, Naalehu, HI is the furthest "city" to our south! (He lived in Hawaii long ago, so of course he's gonna come up with this!)

    And he says "Aloha, Y'all!"
