Had a short trip to Vegas to meet some friends for a B-Day and a Coach Bag event at Paris.
Just a few observations and comments:
The strip was very busy starting Th for the CES convention. Many different countries repesented. Why do those poor guys have to wear suits to Vegas?!!
The new Cosmopolitan was very nice, amazing chandoliers. Hubby had a couple 4Aces on VP there and saw a lady hit a royal on her first $20!!
The first machine I played was a penny original WOZ machine at Paris. Put $20 in a shortly after Glinda stopped by to say "welcome to Vegas" and treated me to 4 wild screens for a win of $340 for a 60 bet!!!! Another machine I enjoyed was the WMS G Delux Dragon Fire. It featured 2 different bonuses and gave me a lot of play. Otherwise I didn't have significant wins anywhere.
I did convince Hubby to try a Buffalo machine for his first time at Harrahs while I tried LOTR. Beginners luck ....he bonused and retriggerd multiple times. Turned a $20 into $140.
Shows: Legends and Nathan Burton , both very good.
Food: Breakfast at Paris buffet and Spice Market at PH, very good. Dinner at Toby
Keiths...good vibe, average food.
Other food and drinks at CET Diamond lounges.
Other: Good band at Indigo Bar, Ballys. Napolean Bar at Paris had a good dueling
pianos.
Room: Had a standard P room with the best view I've had....B fountains and Caesars.
Had a fun time....always love the people watching. Didn't see a lot of winning.
