Default Here's the dump we hang out at the most

http://www.wildhorseresort.com/

Anybody ever been there? They actually pay out some progressives now and again. They do a good business, because the closest competition is 100+miles away. And that place isn't much competition.

It seems that we won a lot when the place was first built, and it's been getting worse all the time.

I wish I had more choices closer to us. Then again, maybe that wouldn't be such a grand idea after all!

Looks like they have a pretty decent selection of slots though. How big is it? About how many machines to they have. Hey at least you have a casino near you .... think about the people in Hawaii and Utah they have none!

Default It's actually about medium, I guess

They advertise 800 slots, I believe. They have been going about 15 years now, and making constant improvements. There is also a bingo hall, and they do hold some headliner concerts on occasion. They have a small poker room, and a smallish 21 pit.

The revenue from the place is doing the tribe good. They have invested in a new tech call center, where I believe they handle customer calls for companies they contract with, which helps provide some decent wage jobs. The tribe also sponsors various events in the community, such as the county fair.

One guy at work is a tribal member. Whenever someone gets on a rant about a big losing session, he just grins and says Thank You!

That is not too bad. Those NA casinos seem to do really well. The ones in CA are hopping. It really is amazing to me!

Hi Scott,

As truck drivers, my husband and I visit a bunch of casinos, and we've always had awesome luck at them, mainly at Kla-Mo-Ya in Chiloquin, and especially at Wildhorse Resort.

I think they have some great games there that I'd never seen before. It was the first time I played the Game with no name and Asian Princess, both of which I won over $150 each, betting all lines X 1, as I normally do!

Unfortunately, the company we drive for now rarely has runs to/from Oregon, so we probably won't get there very often anymore, which sucks. We don't get mailers from them either, but I'd still go there if we get up that way again.
(I think Oregon is so beautiful.. one of my favorite states to visit.)

Well, I do have one compensation... I wear my Wildhorse Resort t-shirt to sleep in!

We've stopped there a couple of times on our drive over to Idaho and back. It seems like a nice place. We spent the night there once with the kids and hubby and I took turns playing that evening - I would play and lose all my money so I would head back to the room, he would go play and win some money to give me and I would go back out again. LOL I don't think we walked away with any of their money, and left a fair share of ours there, but it was fun.
