The first (and about the only) time I played those wraparounds were at the new Lone Butte, and they were penny machines. They MUST be hurting for $$ if they made 'em 2 cents!

Hi Maxgirl:

Like any slot ... you can hit big on just one spin --- however, I have hit the WRAP AROUND PAYS for substantial amounts. You really have to cover the 100 lines (50 credits) to really enjoy the game fully. Normally ... I am a fan of playing fewer lines -- but some games are designed to have all lines played. If you are playing less than 100 lines, it's not really a "Wrap Around Pays" game any longer.

If there is a downside, it's the sizeable bet requirement. At 1-cent -- you can still cover everything for 50-cents at a reasonable rate -- possibly with less than the payback percentage than you might hope for.

I do perfer the 2 cent denoms in these. If you are going to play them might as well go for the best payout% and actually I held my own playing less lines once in a while then bumping up the bet when the activity seemed to be increaseing. I see lots of people that do play these in less lines and get the bonus and be happy with the smaller wins. That seems to be the trend playing on a smaller scale to stretch your entertainment dollar.
