If you guys get around here there are lots of casinos in the state. But we do call one Souring Eagle for a reason. Tight and who knows why, crowded. I guess slot players think they can buck the odds.

I actually went to CMU way back when Mt Pleasant had no casino (umm.. dating myself, 1984-85). Nice to know there's something to do there now, other than go to the bars!

I can't wait to go to some of them.. I recently found a few friends on Facebook that I went to high school with, and I was kinda surprised to find out that they like going to the casino too! In fact, I recommended this forum to a couple of them. I've heard good things about Firekeepers though, from one of them.

hi-I also am in Michigan-in the Sterling Hts suburbs outside of Detroit. Which casinos do you like in Michigan? I only like the MGM Detroit casino downtown a little bit; the other two are tighter than tight. I am going to Windsor this weekend to stay/play and hope it isn't so bad. Enjoy the forum!

Hi walt, we haven't found the SE too crowded. Last Tues. night there was quite a few there, but not bad. I played till 3a.m. Wed. Wed. a.m. was D E A D, and so were the slots. Did fairly well Tues. night. Checked several times, and saw 1 person in the HL area. Now prolly weekends could be a lot different.

We go to all the Detroit casinos, favorite is MGM Grand. Go there once a week and then one of the other ones on a different day sometimes. Do not go to Windsor anymore since the change, they took out too many slots for us. Up north are favorites, are Turtle Creek and LeeLanau Sands. The hosts take care of us and we always win at either place. One other one that is fun and good comps is Little River. ChellesBelles you are just a kid,I graduated high school in 67. Love being retired, we can travel where and when we like.
Have been driving down to Tunica and love it down there. They are real nice in fact will probably go down again sometimes within the next month. Just been watching the weather, more snow down there than we have had. But sounds like we will get alittle bit starting tomorrow.
