One thing to keep in mind about Class II machines is that there were NO regulations for them until November of last year. They just had to meet a few basic requirements and they could go on the floor--- and these basic requirements had nothing to do with whether or not the player would get good payback or consistent payback at all!

Within the next 5 years or so, these Class II machines will become much more regulated by the NIGC and will function much more like the Class III machines, except they will still be server and bingo/lotto/pulltab based.

I recommend sticking to Class III games outside of Nevada at this time. NV does not have a minimum percentage payback requirement, but many tribal locations like CA, AZ, WI, MI, NY, FL all have at least an 85% return requirement on Class III games.
MI casinos, all are Class 111, when signing their compact with the state must adhere to either NV, or NJ gamimg laws. That is public info. I have read the minimum in NV is 75%, and NJ is 83%. This is from the AmericanCasinoGuide.

If the NV min is 75%, this is news to me. Here are the NV regs:
http://gaming.nv.gov/stats_regs.htm#regs

Most particuarly, Regulation 5.

Its been my understanding for years the MI recognizes NV standards, but I've never heard that they recognize NJ standards.

WOW, that NV site IS interesting. It's now in my favorites for those rainy days. LOTS of info in there. Thank you.

The public info is here...Michigan .gov/documents/SCIT_compact_70617_7.PDF See Section 6. Now what I don't understand is if they have a choice of either at any time, or just when thay sign the compact, and it's only for the gaming device, and not all of thats states laws.

Or even more particuarly, Regulation 14.040/ Minimum standards, under gaming devices.
Man you got me reading now. Thanks again

oh yeah, there it is- 75%

I must have been mixing up my facts--- maybe its the top award odds that NV does not have, now I'm not sure! There are so many its easy to mix them up.

Most tribes recognize the GLI-11 standards, which I THOUGHT called for 85% but now that I'm looking through it, it says 75%:

http://www.gaminglabs.com/downloads/...-11%20V1.3.pdf

Now I'm thrown for a loop! There is some location out there that calls for 85%, I just can't remember what it is.

hmmmm - sorry I didn't have my facts straight on that one

Well dang. I'll have to dig around and see if I can find it again. Guess I didn't have my "ducks in a row" either. Man, with all the regs in that NV site I can see how ANYBODY could get confused Don't believe I would want your job.

By using the s for security, and mi for michigan it does take you to a different site. Try this...htpp://michigan.gov/documents/SCIT_compact_70617_7.PDF Then to section 6. At least that what shows when I got myself back to it.

Dang, won't be able to paint the garage today. Got toooooo much reading to do

Red face

Yes, until I see a progressive winner. The Cadillac Jack are from Australia and are found at Valley View casino in San Diego, CA.

The bingo game is not a large payout either.
