Wait a minute Deb. Did you play any WMS games this last trip. This last not so good trip? If not, maybe that's what went wrong. Or maybe not.

Sure sounds like an almost totally bad trip. Except for the food. And not floating away in the rain. Good luck next time!

I will agree on the WMS machines! I often play Hot Hot super jackpot on a penny 5 reel 20 line plus 10 for a potential bonus. So 30 cents a spin and the lowest payout is 5cents. More times than not I lose, but I like the particular game. But it is aggravating to get 4 of the 5 matching symbols only to get 10cents more than you invested. And on 1/2 the symbols that pay, if you get 3, you get less than your original investment!
And you gotta love the bonuses that pay you a total of $1.50!! when you hit the bonus, you automatically get a dollar, so after 15 free spins, you have a whopping 50cents to show for it. |

Hi cashnix:
Just a guess ... but I don't think those progressive machines are as popular as they used to be. If they were --- you would see more, not less, on the casino floor. The issue with these large progressives has always been the "poor action" on these machines. A portion of the bet goes toward the large progressive, a portion is the house edge. So, the amount left over is used for payouts, to keep you playing. Inevitably, there is not as much action as a regular slot. /\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\ |

Hi Deb:
Confused ... what are you replying to? Sounds like you only played 2 WMS games. /\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\ |

I am replying to the last 18 months or so of newer WMS games. I used to play them all the time until I realized that their newer versions just suck my money and give me nothing in return. That is why I said "of late". Their older games like Rich Little Piggies, Jade Monkey, American Reels, and the rest that came out during the time of those games were great but for me it seems that the more intricate and complex they get with their games the worse they get, IMO. Again this has been my experience. Then I find a game that I like i.e. Happy Days The Fonz and they pull it ... WTH? That game actually paid fair. I know that you and I will never agree and like you have said and I somewhat agree with you, the paytables are the same on all the games it is just the volatility that is different. Which is why I had started that thread asking about volatile WMS games because I thought perhaps I could try those since I prefer high vol games.
