Default Harrahs Rincon/Pala

Wasn't going to leave a report, nothing really exciting. But here is my report. My hubby and I thought saturday would be a good day to go to the casino. Next weekend would be packed for valentine's day and it was raining pretty good. We decided to head to the Rincon (I am going to Vegas in May and could use some free rooms, have them at the Orleans, but don't really like that place). Got there found out hubby didn't have a players card, he got 20.00 free play and 20.00 meal credit. Ok on to the gambling.

I had 25 dollars free play, played some Dragon game by Bally's (dud). Tried wild wolfs, not sure if that is the name, it is Igt so I know someone will correct me if I am wrong. (you guys got me checking the Manufactors of every game I like now...lol) Put 20 in played for awhile doing so so, finally got bonus. 5 spins , retrigger, retrigger, retrigger, retrigger. Ended up with 25 spins! Was only playing 1 per line so ended up with 34.95. Moved on to Platinum Quick Hits. Didn't do anything for awhile, moved bet back to 1 per line. Got freespin Bonus, picked 20 x 3 and 5+ wilds, 5 spins in retrigger. 50 spins = 70.00. Decided on it was time to eat. Had the best NY steak and garlic shrimp I think I ever had. Time for star trek to see if Kirk was going to vist me again. Pulled 65 out of that machine. Don't know if I like that it says my name at the top of the machine, some weird guy comes over and says, "Oh, you must be Sheri", I tried hard to ignore him after that. Played some other machines that where duds. Off to Pala!
Having never been to Pala before we couldn't believe how big it was. It was packed, 10 on saturday night. Lost 80 real quick, found my new favorite machine Wild Wolfs. 20 in hit a line pay for 38.00. bonus time...when the dust settled pulled out 60.00. We left at that point. NO big wins and no Pics (sorry, got a new phone and still learning to use it).

I am glad you had a good time and a good meal at Rincon. Also glad to hear you got some play there. That place is SOOO tight, IMO. Pala is huge and is usually packed on the weeked. Like I have said before on here the CA NA casinos are not hurting one bit!
I do hope you get some LV comps out of your trip to Rincon, you just might. I will tell you that the $20 free play and meal credit was better than what existing customers get. You will likely see that in your next mailer Thanks for your report. I know what you mean about a new phone and learning to use it!!! I got mine in Nov and I am still learning! lol

Deb, my hubby and I were wondering if Pala gives anything when you sign up for their players card for the first time. We wanted to wait till we were going to be there for awhile before we signed up. We have almost went to all the casinos right there except Pechanga. It alway looks crowded. Have you been and what do you think of it? Next time we are going to go during the week and spend more time at Pala.

That is a really good question. I have no idea. We have had our Pala cards for about 5 years. Their website might have some information. Pala has pretty good comps too. We have been happier there than Rincon. We get free nights and $20 free play every 24 hours!!! As far as Pechanga goes, we haven't been there in about 5 yrs so I have no idea. Patricia on here goes there quite often and could probably give you a review!

We honestly believe that Pechanga is the "gold standard" when it comes to non-Vegas casinos. It's really very, very nice inside and huge. Even when it's crowded, there are so many different areas to play in. My luck hasn't been the greatest there lately (or anyplace else for that matter), but I would check it out if you are in the area.

I always call the casinos' slot clubs and ask. They're always happy to tell you, as well as the millions of promotions they have.

tha usually means they intend to pay something, or it used to, wo what a skimpy win for all that action. I hope you had a good time, bonuses are just not that great it seems anywhere lately.

Thank You Patricia. We are going to try Pechanga next. My husband also wants to check out Barona. I have been there and love it. For someone who says he is not a big gambler, he was making plans for our next trip on the way home from the last one. Oh well, I am going to check it out if I go with him or my gambling friends. Thanks everyone!!
