I was playing the 5X Pay penny slot, and the machine was hitting about every 2 or 3 spins. I was playing all lines, of course, but was varying the number of coins from 2 to 3 to the max, and then back to 2, etc. The machine seemed to pay better, or as I describe it, "Seemed to like the 2 coin bet," so I started varying between the 2 coin and the max bet. Suddenly, I hit $125 on the 2 coin selection. The total bet was 40 cents. Of course I wished at the time that I'd hit on the maximum coin selection, but I certainly was proud to hit the payout!

$125 on a 40-cent bet is excellent ... almost as good as you can do on a multi-line slot! To me, it's these low denominations which are a lot of fun.

Yes that is a good one for a low bet (which is usually about the amount I play). I like to play 20 line slots, but set the denom to two-cents and play one per line (most machines at my casino are multi-denom, thankfully).

I did win about $350 on a 40-cent bet. Twice actually... and on similar machines. It was "Wolf Run" and "Coyote Moon" to be exact.. both are 40-line slots, with stacked wilds on reels 2-4, and I was betting just a penny per line. Having all three middle reels wild can really add up the pays!
