One lucky 66 year old person from Nevada hit the Penny Megabucks jackpot at the Pahrump Nugget. Turns out that at $18,799,414, it's the largest penny slot jackpot in history. The big winner usually plays video poker, but for some reason decided to give the Megabucks a try just for a change. He deposited $100 and after playing through $44 of it he won the big jackpot. He's planning to pay off bills and take his wife to Australia with the proceeds.

I would hope that he'll have a lot left over after that. Unless a trip to Australia is more expensive than I thought.

I have two aunts that I call my gambling partners because we always go to the casinos together. One of them is the luckiest person in the world and wins constantly and the other one NEVER wins. I'm sort of the in between gal - I don't spend as much as they do but for what I put in I usually break even or call it quits before I could be too bummed about it.
I have to say though that I love to hear about people winning that really needed the money!! It warms my heart ![]() |

I couldn't agree more. It makes it seem like there's a little justice in the world, doesn't it? As far as your aunts, it's funny how some people seem to have good luck and others don't. Just be glad that you're in-between. That's better than having the bad luck.
