I was just wondering. The casinos seem to devote lots of space and advertising to them. It just seems to me that if you were going to play $2 or $3 max bet that you would play something with better odds and better return. You could max bet on a dollar machine for $3 and win alot more.

I like them because I don't lose money as quickly.
You can max out all the options and pay lines and you're more likely to "hit" something, even if at the end of the day you lose the same amount of money. It gives longer entertainment value. That's my opinion. I don't expect to make money at any slots. If I win anything at all, it's a bonus. But if my allotted betting money disappears in a few minutes, then I feel pretty lousy. If it lasts a while I feel better about it. |

I believe the penny slots are the most popular to players because players can sit and play for a long time, without spending a large amount of money.
They are favorites to the casinos because they have the least payout percentage of all denominations--so the casinos can make a lot of money on them. The smaller the denomination, the less payout percentage. Ricky |

I love the penny slots. Win or lose, it's a great way to pass the time and not go broke doing it.
