The true lesson here is not that he won in the airport, but he did not "pump" the machine with cash and did it with just $40.00. None of my BIG WINS have ever come from pumping the machine. It is normally very quick with no more than 15 spins. Sometimes we all go to play with the expectation of trying to make it happen, but too often the stars are not aligned in our favor and much money can be saved by taking a break or trying another day rather than forcing a win by staying to long (and also loosing more money in the process)

I moral of the story for me is that a dismal 75% payback --- even results in jackpots from time-to-time. Those jackpots are on the backs of all of the players who watched their funds quickly drain.
If you have ever played at the Las Vegas airport (and I have) -- most spins result in nothing ... you rarely hit anthing decent ... and your $20 goes through much quicker. If you are flying back to Canada, you don't have to worry about exchanging any extra American currency. /\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\ |
